Today I use custom field called “PRN id” under defects , but this field is not shown under execution run.
 
Today I use Feature requirement for all TP writing and execution per HW and configuration.
But according to your design the Defect is per test case and not per execution run.
For example , today I have HW which has defect and other HW passed on same test case (different execution run).
