some of the requirements will not be answered by traditional test case. some of the requirements will be answered by simple note like “product has not changed. current SN XXX” or for some cases the requirement cannot be answered since it is not in the scope of the specific document so the note will say “system requirement – not in scope”. when issuing traceability matrix it will look like the requirement was not addressed at all therefore i plan to relate it to note which explain the reason why it is not related to test case (like most of the requirements). these cases are common? is the note is good solution? anyway since i am planning to relate requirement to note my question is how to edit relation type of SRD to note to PRS to note.
