OVERVIEW
Sometimes it is necessary to embed a table of data in your document, that is derived from Orcanos electronic records.
It can be the FMEA table for the risk management file or Requirements Traceability for your SRS
Orcanos allows adding dynamic filters for this purpose
HOW TO EMBED FILTERS IN DESCRIPTION
- First, create a filter you wish to embed in your document.
- Open the paragraph in your document where you wish to embed the table
- For example, the FMEA Summary paragraph in your risk management file
- Click on the Edit icon corresponding to the description section to open description in edit mode
- Click Embed Filters button on the description editor toolbar
- In the pop-up screen, select the Project, Work Item as “Risk” and filter as “FMEA Risk Summary Report”
- Now you can see the filter name with an anchor in the description area
You can see the Show/Hide button corresponding to Edit Icon on Description Section once we embed the filter to Show/hide the dynamic information.
