You can perform actions on nodes by right-clicking the node, which will open the right-click menu:
- Add item – adds new item under selected node
- Get URL – copy the item link/URL to the clipboard.
- Cut/Copy/Paste/Delete – cut, copy, paste and delete the item on the product tree
- Copy as link – copy the item as a link, meaning it’s the same item in several locations. Available only for DMS item and test case
- Expand/Collapse/Refresh/Move selected node
- OnlineDoc for edit – opens the selected node and its children in a form of collaborative online document
- Create Trace – trace the item to another work item.
- Import/Export – import a document or its child items, or download the document as a Word or HTML file (or open it in a new tab).
- Open in a new tab – open the selected work item in a new tab
- Checkout – prevents an item from being editable; other users can’t edit it.
- Move to pool – move the selected item to backlog (pool), means remove it from tree
- Convert item – change the selected work item type (such as from software requirement to product requirement). Make sure that the hierarchy settings allows the new converted item type to be under the converted item parent
- Create tag (‘More’ actions menu) – creates baseline of current node and its children
- Set as template (‘More’ actions menu) – selected node is a template that can be used later on when adding project
- Share Content Settings (‘More’ actions menu) – manage group access permissions on node level
