Overview
Users can now download a PDF of the last approved Revision without cover page and watermark. This feature includes dedicated permissions (disabled by default) and full API support.
This functionality is also available in the revision section of the DMS work item:
Administrators can enable this option under the Work Item Permission tab in the Admin console.
PDF name issues related to Adobe acrobat extension
When accessing Orcanos through Google Chrome with the Adobe PDF extension installed, downloaded PDF files may not retain their original file name. This behavior is caused by certain versions of the Adobe Chrome extension and is not related to Orcanos.
If you encounter this issue, you can resolve it by either:
- Disabling the Adobe PDF extension in Google Chrome.
- Updating the Adobe PDF extension to the latest available version, where this issue has been addressed.
Once either of these actions is taken, PDF files should download with their correct file names.
