OVERVIEW
Orcanos system field Assigned To includes the Active and Pending Users. It does not list the Suspended users.
Listing the pending users provides the advantage of assigning tasks right from the outset, allowing for the allocation of work even before they log in to the system.
This Field is of Text Combo Box field type. User can add/edit the data in this field.
User can create alerts based on the filter, or show this field in filter results. For example, the user can create an alert that is generated once a day that lists all the tasks assigned to me
This field can be displayed in Dashboard charts
HOW TO GET THE PENDING USERS IN THE ASSIGNED TO FIELD SELECTION LIST
To include Pending Users in the Assigned To field selection list, users can effortlessly follow these straightforward steps:
- Select the Users from Users & Groups in Admin section .
- Create a New User
- The user status is marked Pending
- Users in the pending status can activate their accounts by accessing the Activate User option located in the Action column of the User details grid.
The Activate User option is available only for the Pending user status
- The user status updates to Active
Upon activation, a default password is securely stored in the system database, ensuring a protected and confidential setup.
